Inside the Ticketing App Revolution: Why Promoters Trust ZPLNR

Another wonderful week into our Blog brings another fantastic piece to publish for the masses. We are super excited to dive into some of the things we've been working on in the last couple of weeks. As this year comes to a close, ZPLNR and all of the affiliates (https://www.about.zplnr.com/affiliate-program ) in our camp have been working together to deliver some of the best AND most affordable shows in the market.

In just a few years, ZPLNR (https://www.about.zplnr.com/) has launched a lofty campaign to become the favorite among event planners! Through diligent planning, magic in programming, and having an ear for our customer base we've developed a fantastic network of promoters that are saying goodbye to the big bad wolves in the ticketing industry who are sucking blood from the stone of music. Instead, we're finding that these brave entrepreneurs are crossing that line in the sand, finding a team they can trust to handle their ticketing needs all without sacrificing more and more of their overhead.

If you're interested in being a part of what we're trying to accomplish, let's dive into a little of what ZPLNR does:

Our fee is capped at a mere $1, compared to our competitors who charge a percentage that costs more and more the bigger the event grows.

All resales happen inside the ZPLNR system, and the event creators benefit when tickets are resold for more than the original price, you control how much and where it goes.

We can automate the entire payout process, meaning no one is carrying cash or waiting for band payout at the end of the night when they have another city to be in by the next day. Most payouts are less than 24 hours, meaning that the band gets paid before they get off stage for the next show.

We also handle all the taxes for your business. We collect and pay all sales taxes and we can provide year-end documents for all your ticketing revenue when requested. Unlike our competitors, we care about your business and keeping it intact for years to come!

We have awesome customer service and support. Whether by widget, Zoom, phone call, text, or email, someone from our team is always around to help you and your patrons succeed in every way possible. Most importantly, we're excited to be a part of many local music scenes, and recently, we've partnered with some promoters in markets very near and dear to our team: Metal.

INTRODUCING OUR FIRST NEW PARTNER: INVICTUS PRESENTS

It takes guts to break from the norm. Breaking from what everyone else is using, fighting against the very systems we're frustrated with, and building something to fix it takes guts. That's why we're proud to partner with Invictus Presents.

Joe Ramsey has been a staple in the SOUTH EAST (I should say the WHOLE DIRTY SOUF, come on, let's face it y'all, most of you in metal bands know this man!) I remember being in MY band based in Atlanta and knowing booking a "Joe Ramsey Presents" show meant you had a shot in our scene to prove what you, and the squad, had been working for months in basements behind the scenes to show to the world was worth the show (spoiler alert, it wasn't :D)".

Fast forward to Invictus Presents. Joe has progressed to creating a team that has been completely invested in not only forwarding the Chattanooga market, but also adding to, and helping grow, multiple southern markets simultaneously. Joe's unwavering dedication to bringing underground metal to the "kids" who want it is truly justice to our blossoming metal family.

Invictus Presents blossomed like a phoenix from the ashes of "Joe Ramsey Presents," From those ashes, Joe created a tight night booking agency with a lean team bringing some of the most prolific shows to the North GA/ Tennessee area and in just a few short years Invictus Presents has proven themselves as a staple in their market.

With a crack team consisting of Amber Elkings as Joe's assistant and co-promoter helping drive the day-to-day operations and Lizzy Livingston as the Knoxville TN connection to the Concourse Venue, with TJ Hill helping fill shows in the greater TN area, the promotion team has given a lot of work to their marketing team to absorb. Drew Hammons takes the wheel on marketing for Invictus Presents with Jake Hamby as his photographer, who feeds all of the great shots we love to see on the Invictus socials (plug page)

INTRODUCING OUR SECOND NEW PARTNER: NOISEROT

NoiseROT(https://www.noiserot.com) is the brainchild of Daniel Alverez. Daniel started booking shows in 2020 after playing numerous shows with his band Under Oblivion. Through booking house shows since 2009 in the Dallas/ Fort Worth metal scene, Daniel had the absolute pleasure of playing with bands like Polyphia at their earliest formation!

NoiseROT went on to create several staples in the DFW scene including the Chill Sounds and Breakdowns Festival that runs between August and October every year!

Partnering with Cooked2th Studios(https://crooked2th-studios.square.site/) out of Fort Worth, Noiserot created the Rotted Roots session as a way for new and upcoming bands to display their prowess on stage in the most intimate of settings available in the area. Watch the latest Rotted Roots Session Here: https://youtu.be/WjzvYLHIPdc?si=rUdaBF4xPhWXsGJk

The NoiseROT Team consists of Daniel Alverez as the head of the organization with Osiel Martinez in charge of podcasts and Bernice Olmos at the head of the marketing drive for the team!

OUR PARTNER FEATURED SHOW: GOROD

A Little About GOROD:

According to their Wikipedia article

"Gorod originally formed in 1997 under the name Gorgasm, but later changed their name to Gorod in 2005, to avoid confusion with an American death metal band of the same name. [1] They released their debut album Neurotripsicks on Deadsun Records in 2004, which was later re-released by Willowtip Records a year later. They later followed up with Leading Vision in 2006. Their original drummer, Sandrine Bourguignon would also leave the band around this time. [2]

In 2008, Gorod announced they had written six new songs, which were to be a part of their upcoming album. [3] In May 2009, the band announced their new album Process of a New Decline as well as releasing another track from that album, "Programmers of Decline" on their Myspace. [4] The album was released a month after to fairly moderate critical acclaim. [5][6] This album would also be their last with their original vocalist Guillaume Martinot, who would later be replaced by Julien Deyres. The band would join the Maryland Deathfest festival in support of the album. [7]

In December 2011, the band announced they began mixing their new album, as well as joining Obscura on tour for their 2011 album, Omnivium alongside Spawn of Possession and Exivious. [8][9] It was later announced a year after that they inked a new North American record deal with Unique Leader Records and released new details of their album A Perfect Absolution,[10] which was released a month after its initial announcement. A year after the album's release, the band would headline the ninth annual Bloodletting North America tour. [11][12][13] The band would also be seeing themselves part ways with their second drummer, Samuel Santiago. [14]

On October 2, 2015, Gorod released studio footage for their album A Maze of Recycled Creeds, which would be released fourteen days later, as well as being their last release with Unique Leader. [15] The band would follow up that success with another album Aethra, released October 2018.

In February 2022, the band released a new single Victory presumably from their new studio album. [16][17] Two more singles would be released as follow-ups, Breeding Silence and The Orb released in July and September respectively. In February 2023, the band announced their seventh album, The Orb, would be released on March 10."

In November of 2023 Gorod announced its North American continent headlining tour, 15 dates across the US beginning in January of 2024!
